Jagadgurus at Erode

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam arrived at Erode to a rapturous welcome in the evening of March of 18, 2017. Dhuli Pada was performed by Dharmadhikari Sri Ramanathan.

Sri Mahasannidhanam in His Anugraha Bhashanam explained how Sri Rama is an exemplar of Dharma. The greatness of Dharma is such that the Lord Himself incarnates to protect it. Sri Sannidhanam in His Anugraha Bhashanam said that adherence to Dharma, Seva to the Guru and engaging in Paropakara (helping others) brings about our Shreyas.

Later in the evening, Sri Mahasannidhanam performed the Sharada Chandramoulishwara Puja.

On March 19, 2017, Sri Sannidhanam had Darshan at the Sringeri Shankara Math in Erode. Thereafter, Sri Sannidhanam visited the Perumal Iyer temple and had Darshan of Lord Shiva (Venkateshwara), Sri Venkataramana Swamy and Goddess Moutthikambal. Sri Sannidhanam also went to Lakkapuram Puthur and had Darshan at the Lakshmi Narayanar temple there.

Later, Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam gave Darshan to the devotees.

In the afternoon, the Jagadgurus en route to Salem graced the Sheshashayee Paper Mills, had Darshan of Sri Valli Devasena Sameta Kalyana Subrahmanya Swamy and blessed devotees led by Chairman Sri N Gopalaratnam. In His Anugraha Bhashanam, Sri Mahasannidhanam stated that while people who have engaged in noble deeds are blessed with prosperity, the devotees of the Lord are usually found to be poor in terms of material riches. The Lord Himself states that He makes those who seek Him materialistically poor. Emphasizing the need for intense devotion towards God and Guru, Sri Mahasannidhanam blessed the assembled devotees.
