Bhavani temple
On the morning of 21st October 2024, the Jagadguru graced the Poornahuti of the Nava Chandi Homam at the Sri Bhavani Temple in Pattanagere, near Raja rajeshwari Nagara. Sri Sannidhanam then performed the Kumbhabhisheka of Goddess Bhavani. A beautifully carved wooden Chariot for Goddess Bhavani’s Rathotsava was also dedicated by Sri Sannidhanam to the Jaganmatha. In the Guruvandana Sabha, Dhuli Pada Puja was performed and the Jagadguru blessed the trustees of the Temple and the assembled devotees with an Anugraha Bhashanam.
Karenji Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple
The Karenji Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple, in Basavanagudi is a place of solitude, the Anjaneya Swamy Vigraha here, is a nearly 20 feet north-facing idol. One could see Sita Ma’s Choodamani in his hands.
Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam visited the Temple and offered his prayers to Lord Sri Anjayeya Swamy, had Darshan of the Mangala-Arathi. The Jagadguru then visited the shrine of Sri Rama and had Darshan of Bhagavan Sri Rama, Goddess Seetha and Lakshmana.
The Jagadguru then inaugurated the “Sri Sringeri Sharada Kalyana Mantapa” by lighting a traditional lamp and blessed the devotees with an Anugraha Bhashanam. In the evening, the Jagadguru visited the Malleshwaram Sringeri Shankara Math branch which had organized a 50 day pravachana series titled “BharataVibhuti”, to celebrate the “Suvarna Mahotsava”, the 50th year of Sanyasa Sweekara of Jagadguru Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha MahaSannidhanam. The event came to an end with the Jagadguru’s Anugraha Bhashanam.
