The Jagadguru Graces Bheemunipatnam

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji arrived from Tuni at Bheemunipatnam on the evening of January 17, 2013. Sri Kandukuri Shivananda Murthy, well known scholar and humanist, led the devotees in welcoming the Jagadguru to his Ashram, Ananda Van.

The following morning, the Jagadguru had Darshan at Sri Adyaadi Mahalakshmi temple. The Jagadguru spent some time in the temple appreciating the beautiful temple architecture and sanctified by the presence of the Mahalakshmi Marakatha Vigraha. The Jagadguru then visited the Mahaganapati Aalayam and then gave Darshan to the assembled devotees.

In the afternoon, the Jagadguru started from Bheemunipatnam and proceeded towards Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management at the outskirts of Vishakhapatnam. The Jagadguru had Darshan of Ganapati in the campus of the institute and blessed their administrative staff.
