Following Ancient Traditions
Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji arrived at the temple town of Harihara on 3rd April evening to a grand welcome. Devotees led the Jagadguru in a procession to the Harihareshwara Swamy temple, where the Jagadguru had Darshan of Lord Harihareshwara and Goddess Mahalakshmi. In His Anugraha Bhashanam, the Jagadguru expressed joy at being in Harihara and remembered His previous visits to the town and blessed the devotees. The Jagadguru then performed the Sharada Chandramoulishwara Puja.
The next morning, the Jagadguru gave Darshan and blessed the devotees with Mantrakshata. In the afternoon, the Jagadguru travelled to Hosagunda in Shimoga district.
