Jagadgurus at Hebbasuru

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam reached Hebbasuru on the evening of March 13, 2017. The Jagadgurus were received at the entrance of the Parvati Sameta Prasanna Nanjundeshwara Swamy temple where they had Darshan. Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam then proceeded to the Sringeri Shankara Math in Hebbasuru and had Darshan of Goddess Sharadamba, Sri Mahaganapati, Sri Adi Shankaracharya, Subrahmanya and Sri Rama. Sri Mahasannidhanam inaugurated “Sri Bharati Tirtha Kripa” building of the Math.

Dhuli Pada Puja was performed by Dharmadhikari Sri HS Sridhara Prasad. After Veda Ghosha and Prayer, a citation in Kannada (binnavattale) was read out and offered to the Ubhaya Jagadgurus.

In His Anugraha Bhashanam, Sri Mahasannidhanam explained the greatness of Dharma and the Avatara of Sri Adi Shankaracharya. He praised the Guru Bhakti and Shraddha of the residents of Hebbasuru. Sri Sannidhanam in His Anugraha Bhashanam stated that in the Chamarajanagar region, Hebbasuru and its residents have the fortune of being blessed with the Prathishta of Goddess Sharada by the Sringeri Jagadguru.

The following day, the Ubhaya Jagadgurus gave Darshan to devotees. Later, they graced the Poornahuti of the Navachandi Homa performed on the occasion. In the afternoon, the Ubhaya Jagadgurus started from Hebbasuru and proceeded towards Tamil Nadu.
