On 22nd March, the Jagadguru performed the Punah Prathishta Kumbhabhisheka of Vasavi Kanyaka Parameshwari at Kadapa. The Jagadguru also consecrated shrines of Sri Chandramoulishwara and Sri Ramachandra Swamy adjacent to the main shrine of Sri Vasavi Kanyaka Parameshwari. After performing the Shikhara Kalashabhisheka to the Vimanas of the three shrines, the Jagadguru in His Anugraha Bhashanam said that it was fitting that a shrine for Lord Shiva and one for Lord Vishnu (Ramachandra Swamy) had been established in the temple, as if to indicate the essence of Sanatana Dharma — the two forms are but one and the same. The Jagadguru expressed great joy at the devotion of the tens of thousands of devotees who attended the occasion, and blessed that the deep Guru-Shishya relationship between the Sringeri Jagadgurus and the community in Kadapa continue to thrive.
