Jagadgurus at Kasaragod

ARRIVAL

Upon arrival at Kasaragod in the evening of June 28, 2017, Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam first visited the Mallikarjuna Swamy temple that is currently under renovation, had Darshan and blessed the renovation effort.

The Ubhaya Jagadgurus then arrived in a large procession at the Sri Sharadamba Bhajana Mandiram in Kasaragod. After being received with Poorna Kumbha, the Jagadgurus had Darshan at the shrine of Goddess Sharadamba and then inaugurated the Mandapam (roof) over the Bhajana Mandiram.

The Jagadgurus then graced the public function in the premises of the Mandiram. Dhuli Pada Puja was performed by Sri Ravisha Tantri. Monks from the Chinmaya mission offered their Pranams. After Veda Ghosha, Prarthana and a Kannada Swagata Patrika Samarpanam, the  Jagadgurus blessed the devotees with Kannada Anugraha Bhashanams.

Sri Sannidhanam in His Anugraha Bhashanam mentioned that it was the fortune of the devotees that the Jagadguru of Sringeri Sharada Peetham had Himself blessed the Sharadamba Bhajana Mandiram on the occasion.

Sri Mahasannidhanam in His Kannada Anugraha Bhashanam mentioned that the Supreme Principle in Sanatana Dharma is non-dual, and that the Same Consciousness takes upon different names and forms of various deities to grace devotees. Sri Mahasannidhanam stressed the importance of adherence to Svadharma and giving up of Ahankara.

Later Sri Sannidhanam performed the Sharada Chandramouliswhara Puja.

VISITS

On June 29, Sri Sannidhanam visited the Chandragiri Dharma Shasta Temple, had Darshan and blessed the devotees. Sri Sannidhanam also graced the Sharada Bhajana Mandiram at Nagarakatte Road. Sri Sannidhanam then graced the Sri Durgaparameshwari temple in Koruvailu, had Darshan and blessed the devotees with an Anugraha Bhashanam. Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam then granted Darshan to devotees at Kasaragod. Thereafter, Sri Sannidhanam graced the Chinmaya Vidyalaya in Kasaragod and blessed the students, teachers and management of the school.

In the afternoon, the Kerala State Police gave a Guard of Honour (a daily event when the Jagadgurus, being State Guests, are in Kerala) as the Jagadgurus were about to leave the state from Kasaragod.

The Jagadgurus started from Kasaragod, and along the route to Moodabidri visited Kumbale and had Darshan at the Kote Shree Veera Anjaneya temple. Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam then visited Mangalpady and had Darshan at Sri Somanatha temple.
