Jagadgurus in Kollam

The Sringeri Jagadgurus arrived at Kollam to a grand reception by devotees in the evening of June 13, 2017. The Jagadgurus had Darshan at the Mahaganapati temple and then went in a procession to grace a public function at the Vidyadhiraja NSS auditorium. Dhuli Pada Puja was performed by Sri Ramakrishnan, President of the Brahmana Samajam at Kollam. Devotees expressed joy at the arrival of the Jagadgurus during the birth centenary year of the 35th Jagadguru of Sringeri. After Veda Ghosha and Prarthana, a Swagata Patrika in poetic Sanskrit verses was read out and submitted to the Jagadgurus.

In His Anugraha Bhashanam, Sri Sannidhanam said that wrong deeds committed by a person will serve as impediments to the Shreyas of the person. Even when the person strives to engage in Seva to God and the Guru, the results of wrong deeds committed in the past become obstacles. Hence one must always refrain from wrong deeds and stay in the Dharmic path.

Sri Mahasannidhanam in His Anugraha Bhashanam described Sadhanas that Bhagavan Sri Krishna has mentioned in the second, twelfth and sixteenth Adhyayas of the Bhagavad Gita.

Later, Sri Sannidhanam performed the Sharada Chandramoulishwara Puja.

The following day, the Jagadgurus gave Darshan to devotees. The Jagadgurus also graced the Poornahuti of the Rudra Homa conducted on the occasion and blessed the devotees.
