The Jagadguru at Kothagudem

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji arrived at the town of Kothagudem on 6th January 2013 to a grand reception.

On 7th January, the Jagadguru had Darshan at Rajarajeshwari Devi temple, Kanaka Durga Chandramoulishwara Panchayatana Kshetram. The Jagadguru also had Darshan at Tri Mata Shakti Panchayatana Kshetram, where He expressed immense joy at the sculpture of Sri Adi Shankara Bhagavatpada and His four disciples — Sri Padmapada, Sri Totaka, Sri Hastamalaka and Sri Sureshwara.

In the afternoon, the Jagadguru started from Kothagudem and graced the Annapoorna Goshala, Palvancha. The Jagadguru spent some time feeding the hundreds of cows in the Goshala and commended and blessed the owner of the Goshala for providing shelter for abandoned cows and those injured by road accidents.
