Jagadgurus in Kovilpatti

ARRIVAL

The Sringeri Jagadgurus arrived at Kovilpatti to a reverential reception by devotees at the entrance of the Poovananathar temple in the evening of May 22, 2017. Dhuli Pada Puja upon arrival was performed by Dr. Sethuratnam. After Veda Ghosha, prayer and Samarpanam of Swagata Patrikas, the Jagadgurus blessed the devout gathering with Anugraha Bhashanams.

Sri Sannidhanam then performed the Sharada Chandramoulishwara Puja.

SRI NARASIMHA BHARATI TIRTHAM & OTHER VISITS

On May 23, Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam first had Darshan at the Karpaga Vinayakar temple. Then the Jagadgurus had Darshan at the Shenbagavalli Sameta Poovananathar temple.

Sri Sannidhanam then graced the town of Iluppaiyurani. Sri Sannidhanam blessed the devotees at the Mahadeva Bhajana_Sabha, had Darshan at the Venkatachalapati temple and blessed devotees with an Anugraha Bhashanam. Sri Sannidhanam then graced the Sri Narasimha Bharati Tirtham and poured holy water into it with prayers for rains in the region and filling up of the Tirtham. The area received very heavy rainfall the same evening to the great joy of devotees. Sri Sannidhanam also graced the Balagopala Swamy Goshala at Iluppaiyurani and returned to Kovilpatti.

After granting Darshan to devotees at Kovilpatti later in the morning, the Jagadgurus started from Kovilpatti towards Tirunelveli in the afternoon.

Enroute to Tirunelveli, Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam graced the town of Kayatharu, had Darshan at the Sri Akhilanda Nayaki Sameta Kothandarameshwarar. Sri Sannidhanam blessed devotees with an Anugraha Bhashanam. Devotees then had Darshan of the Jagadgurus and received Mantrakshata.
