Jagadgurus in Krishnarayapuram

Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam arrived at the Agrahara of Krishnarayapuram to a devout welcome. Dhuli Pada Puja was performed by Sri Ashok. After Veda Ghosha and the reading out of Swagata Patrika in Sanskrit, the Jagadgurus blessed the gathering of devotees with Anugraha Bhashanams.

Sri Mahasannidhanam in His Anugraha Bhashanam said that if the human birth was to be merely used for eating, sleeping, procreation and self-protection, it would be a waste of opportunity. Sri Adi Shankara Bhagavatpada has stressed the need to realize the greatness of human birth and has shown us the path of Shreyas. Sri Mahasannidhanam also remembered the previous visits of His Guru to Krishnarayapuram and the services of devotees led by Sri Dorairaja Iyer and Sri Jayaraman Iyer.

Sri Sannidhanam in His Anugraha Bhashanam stated that the efficacy of adherence to Dharma can be known only by direct experience. One has to practise Dharma and experience the Grace of the Lord, who sends us the right people at a time of need or infuses the right thoughts in us. Sri Sannidhanam explained the life of Yudhishthira as portrayed in the Mahabharata in detail to drive home this point.

Sri Mahasannidhanam then performed the Sharada Chandramoulishwara Puja.

The following day, the Jagadgurus gave Darshan at around 10:30 am. Devotees performed Pada Puja and Bhiksha Vandanam. The Jagadgurus blessed the devotees with Tirtha Prasada and Ashir Mantrakshatas. In the evening the Jagadgurus journeyed from Krishnarayapuram to the neighbouring village of Mahadanapuram.
