Jagadguru Graces His Birthplace, Machilipatnam

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji arrived at Machilipatnam on 6th February to a reverential welcome. The devotees deemed it a great fortune to be present on the occasion as it was in Machilipatnam that the Jagadguru had taken birth.

On 7th February, the Jagadguru visited the Bhramaramba Malleshwara Swamy temple and had Darshan. The Jagadguru then proceeded towards the Tri Shakti Peetham, had Darshan of Goddess Gayatri and then of Goddess Malalakshmi, Goddess Lalitambika and Goddess Mahakali.

In the evening, the Jagadguru visited Sri Ayyappa Swamy temple at Chammanagiripeta. The Jagadguru offered Swarna Pushpa Seva and gave an Anugraha Bhashanam to bless the devotees. The Jagadguru also had Darshan at Bhramaramba Sameta Shanta Malleshwara Swamy temple, Godugupeta.

On 8th February, the Jagadguru visited Kanyaka Parameshwari temple and had Darshan of the Goddess. The Jagadguru also had Darshan of Nagareshwara, Parvati Devi, Anjaneya and Surya Bhagavan. The Jagadguru then visited Mahishasuramardini Sameta Kashi Vishweshwara Swamy temple, had Darshan and blessed the devotees.
