Jagadgurus in Moodabidri for the first time

ARRIVAL

Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam arrived at Moodabidiri in the evening of June 29, 2017. With the Jagadgurus gracing Moodabidiri for the first time, devotees led by Dr. Mohan Alva welcomed the Jagadgurus with great fervour. At the public function organised in the Dr. VS Acharya auditorium in Alvas’ educational institutions campus, Vidyagiri, Dhuli Pada Puja was performed by Sri Chandrashekhar, General Manager of Canara Bank. After Veda Ghosha and a rendition of the Prarthana song (Garuda Gamana Tava – composed by Sri Mahasannidhanam), Sri Mahasannidhanam blessed the gathering with an Anugraha Bhashanam. Sri Mahasannidhanam spoke about the greatness of knowledge and education, and praised Dr. Mohan Alva for the splendid efforts to spread education in the region.

At around 8:45 pm, Sri Sannidhanam performed the Sharada Chandramoulishwara Puja.

VISITS & GURU VANDANA PROGRAM

On June 30, the Jagadgurus graced the Moodabidri Cooperative Service Bank and blessed the devotees. The Jagadgurus then graced the Guru Vandana program organized. Dignitaries led by Dr. Mohan Alva, Sri Abhaya Chandra Jain, Sri Amarnath Shetty, offered their Pranams. Sri Sannidhanam in His Anugraha Bhashanam on the occasion explained why and how the guidance of a Mahapurusha is required for us to lead a purposeful life. Sri Mahasannidhanam in His Anugraha Bhashanam on the occasion spoke about the need to tread the Dharmic path.  Sri Sannidhanam then graced the Alvas’ educational institutions and blessed the management, faculty and students.
