Jagadgurus at Namakkal

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam arrived at Namakkal in the evening of March 22, 2017. After Dhuli Pada was performed by Sri Narasimhan, Tamil Swagata Patrams were read and submitted to the Jagadgurus. Sri Sannidhanam and Sri Mahasannidhanam blessed the gathering with Anugraha Bhashanams.

Sri Sannidhanam in His Anugraha Bhashanam said that the huge size of Lord Anjaneya at Namakkal evokes in us the feeling that we are minuscule and nothing happens without the Lord’s Grace. Sri Mahasannidhanam in His Anugraha Bhashanam mentioned that we must undertake noble activities, functioning as an instrument of the Lord. Illustrating the achievements of Sri Adi Shankaracharya, Sri Mahasannidhanam stated that all great personages lead active lives driven by the cause of Lokopakara – the benefit of mankind.

On March 23, Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam were led in a procession on foot, first to the Narasimha Swamy temple. They had Darshan of Goddess Namagiri and Lord Narasimha. Thereafter, the Jagadgurus proceeded towards the Anjaneya Swamy temple at Namakkal and had Darshan. Later, Sri Sannidhanam visited the Vasavi Kannika Parameshwari temple in Namakkal town, had Darshan and blessed the devotees with an Anugraha Bhashanam. The Ubhaya Jagadgurus blessed devotees with Darshan, Tirtha Prasada and Ashirmantrakshatras and left for Dindigul in the afternoon.
