The Jagadguru Graces Narasaraopet — His Poorvasharama Hometown
Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji arrived at the town of Narasaraopet on 24th February 2013 to a rousing reception. The residents of Narasaraopet were excited at the arrival of the Jagadguru, for it was in the town that the Jagadguru had spent most of His Poorvashrama days until 1966, before coming to be under the direct tutelage of His Guru Sri Sri Abhinava Vidya Tirtha Mahaswamiji. The Jagadguru expressed in His Anugraha Bhashanam that as a Sannyasi, He had no affiliations to a particular place or a language, but the fervour amongst the devotees was natural even as they felt a deep sense of connection with the Jagadguru. The Jagadguru then performed the Sharada Chandramoulishwara Puja.

On 25th February morning around 9AM, the Jagadguru went to nearby Kotappakonda, and offered elaborate Puja to Sri Trikooteshwara Swamy. While returning, the Jagadguru had Darshan of Anjaneya Swami Temple at the foothills of Kotappakonda. The Jagadguru then graced Narasaraopet Engineering College and gave an Anugraha Bhashanam. Later, the Jagadguru had Darshan at Perandaalamma Temple, and also at the Bala Chowdeshwari temple at Ramireddypet, close to His Poorvashrama home.

On 26th February, the Jagadguru visited the temples of Sri Veera Abhayanjaneya Swamy at Ramireddypet and Sri Veera Anjaneya Swamy temple at Arundulpet. In the evening, the Jagadguru first graced Kopparam and blessed the devotees led by the family of late Vedabrahmasri Chintalapati Kutumbarama Shastry. The Jagadguru then graced the village of Minnekallu and Darshan of Prasanna Anjaneya Swamy, Parvati Sameta Chandrashekhara Swamy temple atop a hillock and the Sri Rama temple. The Jagadguru in His Anugraha Bhashanam expressed happiness to grace such rural places and blessed the villagers. The Jagadguru also had Darshan at the Bala Tripura Sundari temple in Minnekallu before returning to Narasaraopet.

On 27th February, the Jagadguru perfomed the Kumbhabhisheka at the temples of Sri Adi Shankara and Goddess Sharada at the Sringeri Shankara Math in Narasaraopet. In the evening, the Jagadguru gave an Anugraha Bhashanam at the Guru Vandana Program held at the Municipal School grounds.

On 28th February, the Jagadguru graced the Puratana Sringeri Shankara Math in Narasaraopet, had Darshan of Sri Adi Shankaracharya and blessed the devotees. The Jagadguru then proceeded to Ganga Parvati Sameta Bhimalingeshwara Swamy temple, had Darshan and laid the foundation for the renovation of the temple. After giving Darshan to the devotees and blessing them with Phala Mantrakshatras at noon, the Jagadguru started from Narasaraopet towards Bapatla on the evening of 28th February.
