Kumbhabhishekha & Samadhi Shrine of Sri Neelakantha Dikshitar

ARRIVAL

The Sringeri Jagadgurus arrived at Palamadai on the evening of May 27, 2017. The Jagadgurus were received with Poornakumbha at the entrance of the Agrahara and proceeded to have Darshan of Mangalamba Sameta Mangalaankureshwarar. The Jagadgurus then had Darshan of Lord Viswanatha, constructed over the Samadhi location of Sri Neelakantha Dikshitar and Goddess Vishalakshi.

Dhuli Pada Puja was performed by Sri PK Seshadri. After Veda Ghosha, prayer and Samarpanam of Swagata Patrikas in Sanskrit and Tamil, Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam blessed the devotees with Anugraha Bhashanams.

On May 28, 2017, Sri Sannidhanam performed the Kumbhabhisheka at the shrine of Sri Adi Shankaracharya at the Sringeri Shankara Math in Palamadai.

DEPARTURE & VISITS

After blessing devotees with Darshan and Mantrakshata later in the morning, the Jagadgurus started for Ramayyanpatti in the evening. En route, the Jagadgurus graced Melnattham and had Darshan at the Gomati Ambal Sameta Agneeshwarar temple and the Shasta temple.
