Kumbhabhisheka in Ramayyanpatti

ARRIVAL

The Sringeri Jagadgurus arrived in Ramayyanpatti on the evening of May 28, 2017. The Jagadgurus were received with great devotion by devotees led by the family of late Guru Bhakta Ratnam Kittamani Iyer. Guru Bhakta Shiromani Sri N Srinivasan offered Poornakumbha to the Jagadgurus.

Dhuli Pada Puja was performed by Sri Ashok. After Veda Ghosha, prayer and Samarpanam of Swagata Patrikas in Sanskrit and Tamil and a welcome speech in English, Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam blessed the devotees with Anugraha Bhashanams. Sri Mahasannidhanam remembered the Guru Bhakti of late Guru Bhakta Ratnam Kittamani Iyer and made special mention of the granite Mandapam he had built for the performance of the Sharada Chandramoulishwara Puja whenever the Sringeri Jagadguru graces Ramayyanpatti.

KUMBHABHISHEKA OF VARASIDDHI VINAYAKAR TEMPLE

The following morning, Sri Sannidhanam performed the Kumbhabhisheka of the Varasiddhi Vinayakar temple in Ramayyanpatti. Sri Sannidhanam also graced the Agrahara in Ramayyanpatti, blessed the residents and had Darshan at the Siddhi Vinayakar temple.

DEPARTURE & VISITS

Later in the afternoon, the Jagadgurus started for Kallidaikurichi. Enroute to Kallidaikurichi, devotees of Cheranmadevi and Kooniyur reverentially paid respects to the Jagadgurus.
