The Jagadguru Graces Vishakhapatnam

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji arrived at the city of Vishakhapatnam on the evening of January 18.

On January 19, the Jagadguru graced the Sringeri Shankara Math and had Darshan of Goddess Sharada and Parivara Devatas. The Jagadguru laid the foundation stone for the temple of Sri Adi Shankara. The Jagadguru also laid the foundation stone for a Guru Bhavanam, Pravachana Mandapam and a Pathashala. In the evening, the Jagadguru gave a special discourse highlighting the important aspects of Dharma, and how Karma phala is effected on each individual, in accordance to the Karma one does.

On 20th January, the Jagadguru went to the nearby holy town of Simhachalam acceding to the devout invitation of the temple authorities who had come to Tuni on the evening of January 16. The authorities and Archakas welcomed the Jagadguru who then had Darshan of Lord Varaha Narasimha.

On 21st January evening, the Jagadguru visited the Ashtalakshmi temple and had Darshan of Mangala Gowri, Vaishakeshwara, Suryanarayana, the Ashtalakshmi goddesses, Lakshmi Narayana Swamy and Anjaneya Swamy. The Jagadguru in His Anugraha Bhashanam praised the devotees for maintenance of the temple and their devotion. The Jagadguru then graced the Gayathri Vidya Parishad College of engineering where Sri D V Subba Rao led the delegation welcoming the Jagadguru. The Jagadguru gave an Anugraha Bhashanam and blessed the faculty and students. The Jagadguru then graced the Guru Vandana Program, released the special edition of Vishakha Vipravani spiritual magazine and gave an Anugraha Bhashanam.

On 22nd January, the Jagadguru visited the Gayathri Siddha Peetham and blessed the devotees.
